Mary Lou McCarty

 

 

Mary Lou McCarty, age 79, of Russellville, Mo. Passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at her home in Russellville, Mo. She was born March 16, 1933 in Fulton, Mo. the daughter of John H. and Ruby Mae Potts Harris, both of whom preceded her in death. She attended Russellville High School. Mary was united in marriage July 28, 1951 in Miami, Ok. To James Clifford McCarty, who preceded her in death on June 7, 2009. She was employed with Unilever until her retirement. Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she will be sadly missed. Survivors include: two daughters; Pam Trivitt, with her husband Gene of Russellville, Mo.; and Sheila Pevehouse, of Russellville, Mo. Two brothers; John H. Harris Jr., with his wife Loretta, of Berryville, Arkansas; and Bobby Lee Harris.; three sisters; Lois McCarty, of Russellville, Mo.; Barbara Clapper, and Edith Jane.; six grandchildren; Crystal and Brett Hodler, Ashlee Hodler, James, Steven and Lance Trivitt.; 10 great grandchildren.; Mary was preceded in death along with her parents and husband, by two brothers; Paul and Vernon Harris,; and two sisters; Judy Harris and Virginia Porter. Visitation will be Friday, June 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Weber Funeral Home in Russellville, Mo. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ryan Stiffler officiating. Burial will be in the Enloe cemetery in Russellville, Mo. Memorials are suggested to the Mary McCarty Estate in care of Weber Funeral Home in Russellville, Mo. Gary August Fischer “Fish”

 

 

Gary August Fischer “Fish” age 69, of Russellville, Mo. passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Mo. He was born December 21, 1942 in Collinsville, Illinois the son of August Ernst and Mabel Linhardt Fischer, both of whom preceded him in death. He graduated from Lincoln Laboratory High School. Gary was united in marriage on October 30, 1972 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Lohman, Mo. to Libby Messer who survives of the home. Gary began his electrical career working for his father’s business, A. E. Fischer Electrical Service. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local 257, Local Retirees 257 Club, Gary graduated as a Journeymen from the IBEW Apprentice program in 1967, as one of the youngest Electrician in the Nation. He was also past president of Local 257. Gary was proud of the fact that his family was one of the first Immigrants to Old Municburg in Jefferson City, Mo. Gary enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was loved by all, he will be sadly missed. Survivors include: Wife Libby of the home.; one son; L. E. Jake Fischer, with his wife Amy of Russellville, Mo.; one brother; Randy Fischer, with his wife Diane of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister; Carolyn Onek, with her husband Robert of Topeka, Kansas.; the sunshine of his life, grandaughter; Dallas Payne, with her husband Ben of Russellville, Mo.; and one great grandaughter; Lorelai Payne.; three nephews; Austen Onek, with his wife Melissa; Zack and Alex Fischer.; Visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2012 at Weber Funeral Home in Russellville, Mo. from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Alpha One, 2937 Southwest 27th Ave. Suite 106, Miami, Florida. 33133, or Local 257 Retirees Benefit Fund. Margaret Gold

Margaret Gold, age 86 of Osage Beach, Mo. passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Mo. She was born April 25, 1926 in St. Louis, Mo. the daughter of Lonnie A.B. and Margaret Dittman Leslie, both of whom preceded her in death. Margaret was united in marriage on May 1, 1948 in Russellville, Mo. to Marvin I. Gold who also preceded her in death in 1996. Margaret and Marvin lived in several places across the country including Jefferson City, Mo., Columbia, Mo., St. Louis, Mo., Los Angeles, Ca., and retired at the Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. after Marvin retired from advertising She worked as a Secretary in the Missouri State Capital after Junior College in Jefferson City, worked as a receptionist for family friend, Dr. E.L. Slaughter, D.O. in St. Louis in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Margaret was also a member and officer of National Osteopathic Guild Assn. and St. Louis branch at Normandy Osteopathic Hospital in St. Louis. Margaret and her husband enjoyed new and old friends, collecting antiques and traveling. She is survived by one son; David L. Gold of Columbia, Mo. along with many friends and relatives, she will be sadly missed. A private graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Enloe Cemetery in Russellville, Mo.
