Sarah Emmerich

Sarah Emmerich, age 74, of Jefferson City, Mo. passed away Friday, January 15, 2010 at the Golden Living Center, in Jefferson City, Mo. She was born October 11, 1935 in Evening Shade, Arkansas, a daughter of Ben and Lucile Brown Emmerich, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married April 3, 1960 in Pitcher, Oklahoma to Walter “Bud” Emmerich who also preceded her in death. Sarah was employed with Cheeseborough Ponds where she retired after 20 plus years of service.

Sarah loved spending time with family and friends, she will be sadly missed. Survivors include: four sons; James F., Chaney M., Henry C., and John F. Emmerich.; one daughter; Hermena Gail Roddy.; two brothers; and three sisters; ten grandchildren,; eight great-grandchildren,; and three great-great grandchildren.; Visitation will be held Tuesday January 19, 2010 from 4-6 P.M. at Weber Funeral Home, Russellville, Mo. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at Weber Funeral Home, Russellville, Mo. with Truman Hodge officiating. Burial will be in the Enloe Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimers Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave. 7th Fl., New York, NY. 10001. Arrangements are under the direction of Weber Funeral Home in Russellville, Mo.

Lester S. Marcum

Marcum
Lester S. Marcum, age 68, of Rocky Mount, Mo. passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009 at his home in Rocky Mount. He was born November 24, 1941, in California, Mo. the son of Samuel and Arcadia Alene Voigt Marcum, both of whom preceded him in death. He was married October 21, 1960 to Nathalie J. Jungmeyer, who also preceded him in death March 12, 1999. Lester was later united in marriage January 1, 2000 in Jefferson City, Mo. to Rita Alldredge, who survives of the home.

He was a member of the North Shore Baptist Church, in Rocky Mount. Lester worked as assistant service manager at McKay Buick in Jefferson City, Mo. for twenty years, and retired from the State of Missouri, where he served as Sergeant at Arms for the Missouri State Senate. Lester loved spending time with family and friends, he will be sadly missed. Survivors include: his wife Rita of the home.; one son; Edwin V. Marcum, with his wife Latishia of Holts Summit, Mo.; one daughter; Tina Eisterhold, with her husband Richard of Rich Fountain, Mo.; three brothers; Alvin Marcum, with his wife Carol of Jefferson City, Mo.; Larry Marcum, with his wife Wanda of Gravois Mills, Mo; and Wayne Manly, with his wife Beth of Clark, Mo.; eight grandchildren; Michael, McKayla, and Alex Marcum, Daniel, Quincie, and Andrew Eisterhold, Lauren, and Levi Alldredge.; Extended family; Phillip Alldredge, with his wife Cholly of St. Charles, Mo.; and John Alldredge, of Rocky Mount, Mo.; three half brothers; Richard, Rusty, and Sammy Marcum.; two half sisters; Beverly Linhardt.; Lester was preceded in death along with his parents and first wife Nathalia, by one son; Michael Marcum,; and one brother, Mike Marcum.

Visitation will be Monday December 28, 2009, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Weber Funeral Home in California, Mo. with funeral services to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Kessler and father Fred Elscamp officiating. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Hospice Compasus, 1191 Hwy KK, Osage Beach, Mo. Arrangements are under the direction of Weber Funeral Home in California, Mo.
