Clark D. Meckfessel

Clark D. Meckfessel age 62, of Russellville, Mo. passed away Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 at his home in Russellville, MO. He was born August 7, 1950 in St. Louis, Mo. the son of Donald Edward and Dorothy Juanita Counts Meckfessel, both of whom preceded him in death. Clark enjoyed reading and collecting beer steins.  Clark also enjoyed the company of his dogs as well as family and friends, he will be sadly missed. Survivors include: one sister;  Donna Clark of Fulton MO; one brother; Dwight Meckfessel, of Colorado; three nieces: Jeannie Lairmore with her husband Stacy of Fulton, MO., Jennifer Clark, of Jefferson City, MO., and Angie Harris with her husband Andy of Jefferson City, MO., one nephew David Meckfessel with his wife Danie of Kansas.  The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Clarence Everett Bentch (C.E.)

Clarence Everett Bentch (C.E.) age 79, of Holts Summit, Mo. passed away Monday, January 21, 2013, at Capital Region Medical Center.  He was born December 5, 1933, in Sagrada, Mo., the son of George Ezra Bentch and Minnie Opal McDavitt, both of whom preceded him in death.  He graduated from Versailles High School.  Clarence was united in marriage June 4, 1955, in Yoder, Kansas to Betty Irene Kauffman, who survives of the home.  He was employeed as maintenance supervisor at Central Dairy until his retirement.  Clarence was a member of Local 833 Teamsters and First Church of God.  He enjoyed traveling to Florida in his fifth wheel and tinkering with computers.  He will be sorely missed.  Survivors include: one son, Dennis Bentch, with his wife Beverly of Jefferson City, Mo.  Two daughters, Miriam Moseley of Jefferson City, Mo., Elaine Huff, with her husband Bob of Russellville, Mo.  One sister, Lela Ruth Wenger. Eight Grandchildren, Christopher Burcks, Carmen Bentch, Brandon Bentch, Ryan Bentch, Lauren Bentch, Lindsey Kramer, Chad Huff, and Ethan Huff. Six great-grandchildren, Madalyn and Lillian Muse, Claire and Ashton Kramer, Alyssa and Hailey Burcks. Clarence was preceded in death along with his parents; by one brother, Don Bentch; two sisters; Glendola Wenger, Eunice Lehman; one son-in-law, Charles F. Moseley. Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2013, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at First Church of God in Jefferson City, Mo. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rob Kespelher officiating.  Burial will be in the Mt. Frances Louise Steinman

Frances Louise Steinman, age 83, of Russellville, Mo. passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Oak Tree Villas Jefferson City, Mo. She was born October 6, 1929 in St. Louis, Mo. the daughter of Edith Lucille Bruning Schmidt. She was raised by her grandfather, Ben P. Bruning, both of whom preceded in her in death. She graduated from Russellville High School in 1946. Louise was united in marriage February 12, 1949 in Jefferson City, Mo to Henry John Steinman, Jr. who preceded her in death on October 26, 2008. Louise was employed with Department of Revenue until her retirement in 1984. She enjoyed quilting and working in her flower gardens. Louise enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she will be sadly missed. Survivors include: three sons; James Steinman, with his wife Mary of Joshua TX,; Jerry Steinman, with his wife Shelley of Russellville,; David Steinman, with his wife Debora of Russellville, Mo. One daughter; Cathy Welch, with her husband Brian of Jefferson City, Mo. Nine grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Louise was preceded in death along with her mother, grandfather and husband by one daughter; Patty Miles and one grandson; Broch Steinman. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday December 5, 2012 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Russellville, Mo. with Father Stephen Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in the St. Michaels cemetery in Russellville, Mo. In honor of her daughter, Patty, memorial contributions can be made to the ALS Association, Keith Worthington Chapter, 2025 E. Vicky Hoffman

 

Vicky Hoffman, age 59, of Russellville, Mo. passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital in Jefferson City, Mo. She was born March 15, 1953 in St. Louis City MO, the daughter of Orville C. and Rose M. Martinez McCormack. She graduated from Crystal City High School. Vicky was united in marriage November 3, 1972 in New Bloomfield, Mo. to Larry Hoffman, who survives of the home. Vicky was a long time employee of Tolson Drug Store. After leaving, she was a homemaker. Vicky loved spending time with her family and friends, she will be sadly missed. Survivors include: Her husband Larry of the home; one son; Larry Clifton Hoffman, with his wife Amanda of Jefferson City, Mo.; one daughter; Nicole Bonnot with her husband Michael of Columbia, Mo.; Mother, Rose Martinez McComack of Jefferson City, Mo.; one brother; Gary McCormack with his wife Lori of Desoto, Mo.; One brother-in-law; Richard Hoffman with his wife Mary of Freeburg, Mo.; four grandchildren; Brandon Elder, Brandi Elder, Noah Bonnot and Brett Bergman, along with nieces and nephews. Vicky was preceeded in death by her father; Orville C. McCormack. Visitation will be Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Weber Funeral Home in Russellville, Mo. with memorial services to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Anderson officiating. Betty Jean Teson

 

Betty Jean Teson, age 81, of Russellville, Mo. passed away Friday, October 12, 2012 at her home in Russellville, Mo. She was born March 14, 1931 in Dexter, Mo. the daughter of Preston Leroy and Mary Jane Hooker Davis, both of whom preceded her in death. Betty was united in marriage on June 4, 1960 in Illinois to Arthur Wayne Teson who survives of the home. She was a housewife and also a member of the Cole Springs Baptist Church in Russellville, Mo. Betty enjoyed caring for all of her beautiful flowers, playing bingo and fishing, but most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, she will be sadly missed. Betty is survived by one son; J.R. Allen of Russellville, MO.; One niece Janet Jasper and husband Dan of Russellville, Mo. Betty was preceded in death along with her parents by seven brothers and four sisters. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. with the Memorial Service to follow at 5:00 p.m. at Weber Funeral Home in Russellville, Mo. with Bro. Ryan Stiffler officiating. Inurnment will be in the Enloe cemetery in Russellville at a later date.
